Roast Your Own Coffee – Hands-On Workshop

Learn the art of roasting coffee!
You and one more person will get a 2.5 to 3 hour workshop with one goal: roast your own coffee, pack it up, and take it home. We’ll be using a real drum roaster — like the pros. No compromises.

This workshop will cover:

• Coffee Origins: Where is it from, how is it harvested, how is it processed.
  This will serve as the basis for your roasting education. You’ll learn how nature shapes the beans you’ll be working with.
• Preparation: How does a roaster work? How do we measure bean density? How do we prepare a roast?
• Warming Up: While the roaster heats up, we’ll plan our first roast together. Want a light roast, dark roast, or something in between?
• It’s getting hot in here: We will run 3 roasts. The first you will watch me, the second, I’ll guide you step by step. The thrid, you are on your own. Your decisions, your results.
• How to taste coffee? We go through the process of tasting the coffees together in preparation for your home brewing!

You will leave this workshop a full coffee roaster. No previous knowledge needed. 1 kg of Specialty Coffee (Country of Origin is your Choice) is included (Value ~ 500 SEK).
